If you are a true sports fan, you know the thrill of watching a prediction play out exactly as you imagined. wm98 takes that excitement further — offering a sports betting platform that goes beyond the ordinary, giving Malaysian sports fans a space to experience every moment of the action on a deeper level.
What sets WM98 apart from other platforms is the accuracy and speed of odds updates. On many other platforms, odds are refreshed periodically every few minutes — meaning there are windows where the information you see may already be outdated. At WM98, sports betting odds are updated in near real-time, reflecting the latest developments in live matches. This gives you a significant information edge, especially during in-play betting.
In terms of market options, WM98 offers far more than simple win/lose bets. For each major football match alone, there are over 100 different market types — from Asian Handicap and over/under goal totals, to half-time results, first goalscorer, total corners, red cards, and much more. This market variety allows players who truly understand the sport to find better value bets compared to simply betting on the final result.
One of the most popular features among wm98 players is in-play betting — wagering live while a match is in progress. This feature lets you place bets not only before the opening whistle, but throughout the entire duration of the match — from the first minute right through to extra time.
The advantage of in-play betting is that you can make decisions based on what is actually unfolding on the pitch, not just pre-match predictions. You can observe team form, player injuries, coaching tactics, and match momentum — all information that can help you place more informed bets. At wm98, the in-play betting interface is designed to be clean and responsive so you can act quickly without losing track of the match.
For football, basketball, and select other sports matches, wm98 also provides live statistics animations — a visual display showing ball movement, possession percentage, total shots, dangerous attacks, and many more useful metrics to help you assess the current match situation at a glance.
Today's generation of Malaysian sports fans doesn't just follow EPL or Badminton — many also follow esports just as seriously. WM98 has long recognised this trend and offers one of the most comprehensive esports sections among local betting platforms.
The esports titles supported by wm98 cover nearly all major competitive games in the world. DOTA 2 with its various international tournaments including The International, CS2 with ESL leagues and BLAST Premier, Valorant VCT, League of Legends LCK and LPL, and Mobile Legends MPL which is hugely popular among Southeast Asian players including Malaysia. Each esports title has dedicated betting markets tailored to its match format.
A standout feature of the wm98 e-sports section is its consistently updated team and player information. wm98 keeps pace with the latest developments in e-sports, ensuring the odds on offer reflect current reality — including roster changes, recent results, and team performance trends in the near term.
Wm98 offers a wide range of betting formats to suit players of all experience levels. Here are the main types of sports betting you can enjoy:
The most popular betting format in Asia. The handicap system grants a goal advantage to the weaker team to level the playing field, offering fairer odds and more compelling choices compared to standard 1X2 betting.
Predict whether the total goals, points, or score in a match will be over or under the set line. Available for football, basketball, tennis, and many other sports across various line levels.
Combine multiple bets on a single ticket for multiplied higher odds. The more matches you combine, the greater the potential return — ideal for players confident in their analysis.
Predict which player will score the first goal of the match. This market offers higher odds and adds an extra dimension to your football watching experience.
Bet on which team or athlete will win an entire tournament or league. Available from the start of the season at attractive early odds, or while the tournament is already underway.
Beyond the betting types above, WM98 also offers Virtual Sports — simulated sports betting that runs 24 hours a day without depending on real match schedules. Perfect for times when there are no live matches that interest you, or simply for extra entertainment between two matches.

Sports betting is not just about luck — it involves analysis, risk management, and a solid understanding of the sport you follow. This concise guide is designed specifically to help Malaysian players who are just starting their sports betting journey at wm98, or who want to sharpen their existing approach.
The most important first step is to focus on a sport you genuinely understand. Many new players make the mistake of betting across too many sports at once — the result is shallow analysis and less informed decisions. It is wiser to start with one or two sports, build deep knowledge, and gradually broaden your coverage once you are comfortable.
Next, understand the concept of value in betting. A good bet isn't necessarily a bet on the strongest team — it's a bet where the odds offered are higher than the actual probability of the event occurring. wm98 displays odds transparently and consistently, making it easy for you to compare value across various markets.
Bankroll management is the backbone of long-term success in sports betting. Set a total amount dedicated to betting and stick to that limit. Many betting experts recommend not exceeding 1%–5% of your total bankroll on any single bet. wm98 provides a betting limit feature in your account settings that you can activate to help maintain this discipline automatically.
Make use of the statistical records provided by wm98 before placing a bet. Head-to-head data between two teams, recent results from the last five or ten matches, home and away performance records, as well as player injury and suspension status — all of this is valuable information that can help you make more informed decisions.
Finally, enjoy the betting experience as part of watching sports, not as a primary source of income. Sports betting at WM98 is designed to add excitement to following your favourite sports. When it starts to feel like a burden or pressure, that's the time to step back and reassess your approach. WM98 upholds a comprehensive responsible gaming policy and provides self-control tools to keep your experience positive and sustainable.
